Kerry Discharge
The New York Sun has an article by Thomas Lipscomb about a discharge board for Kerry. A discharge board is rather unusual as they are usually granted administratively (i.e. im most cases automatically).
The Freepers have some excerpts from the article. and a link which requires registration to the Sun.
Here is a link to the article that does nor require registration.
An official Navy document on the John Kerry campaign website listed as Kerry's "Honorable Discharge from the Reserves" opens a door on a well-kept secret about Kerry's military service. The document is a form cover letter in the name of the Carter Administration's Secretary of the Navy, W. Graham Claytor. It describes Kerry's discharge as being subsequent to the review of "a board of officers." This in itself is most unusual. There is nothing about an ordinary honorable discharge action in the Navy that requires a review by a board of officers. It turns out that this could all be a bunch of hot air. Power Line covers it. The rebuttal to the charges comes near the bottom.
