The American work ethic:
Work hard. Party hard.
A balanced life.
As we Jews like to toast: "l'chaim". In fact we are commanded to enjoy all lawful pleasures to avoid the aridity of the ascetic. Especially sex. If your wife asks you have to deliver.
Inspired by a blog post on the sexual failings of ∅bama entitled "Screwed By Obama. H/T Instapundit.

I was reading about the educational attainments of strippers and came across a guy who said strip clubs had ruined him for "real" women.
Tuesday 31 AugustUh. That is normal. You had some fantasy about regular sex and romance? Fuggedaboutit.
By Jude
Sorry, degree or no degree, strip clubs are never worth it, and dating a stripper is nasty. I was broke in the past, because of going to strip clubs, and I feel like I cannot have a normal relationship with a woman, because of it. Damn strip clubs, do nothing but make us guys broke and go home with blue balls.

BANGKOK – Actor David Carradine, star of the 1970s TV series "Kung Fu" who also had a wide-ranging career in the movies, has been found dead in the Thai capital, Bangkok. A news report said he was found hanged in his hotel room and was believed to have committed suicide. How sad. And what an inconsiderate way to go. His fans will miss him. And I have been a long time fan.
A spokesman for the U.S. Embassy, Michael Turner, confirmed the death of the 72-year-old actor. He said the embassy was informed by Thai authorities that Carradine died either late Wednesday or early Thursday, but he could not provide further details out of consideration for his family.
The Web site of the Thai newspaper The Nation cited unidentified police sources as saying Carradine was found Thursday hanged in his luxury hotel room.
It said Carradine was in Bangkok to shoot a movie and had been staying at the hotel since Tuesday.
