Addictive Drugs

To be "addictive" a drug has to empty receptors. There are no such "recreational" drugs. Drugs we call addictive fill receptors. Filling receptors reduces or eliminates the desire for drugs. Not counting Habituation which is cured by Detox.

What empties receptors? Dr. Lonny Shavelson in his book "Hooked" said that 70% of female heroin addicts had been sexually abused in childhood. Addiction is a symptom of PTSD says Nobel Prize Winner in Medicine Eric Kandel in his book, "The Disordered Mind."

I asked my doctor and he couldn't name any addictive drugs that didn't require an empty receptor.
