FBI vs AIPAC

Here is page one of a Jerusalem Post article about the FBI AIPAC sting. The money quote is on page two:

Simple logic helps: If the FBI possessed a shred of credible evidence against AIPAC or any of its employees, one has to assume it would not have wasted millions of dollars trying to suborn a Pentagon employee to set the organization up.

It appears one Lawrence Franklin, a Defense Department drone under threat of losing his job, was compelled to pass "classified" documents to two AIPAC employees. The documents spelled out an immediate threat to Israelis supposedly in Iraq.
