Fixing Things

When you always run to the government to fix things who will you run to when government is broken?

Inspired by Grim.

H/T Winds of Change

Brought on by the Foley mess and the rest of the sleaze that goes on in Washington. Government does its best to strangle the economy while sucking ever more blood out of it. The only consolation we get from the Rs is that the Ds will be worse.

And how about that Murtha? The go to guy when the Republicans needed to buy some Democrat votes. Honest vote buying? Of course not. They did it with stolen money. Yours. I'm really trying to figure out which is worse. The Republicans who were buying or the Democrats (with Murtha the broker) who were selling.

A very ugly election season. Worse than '04 by far.

Foley comes from a very wealthy district! (Someone posted that it falls into the neighborhood where Drudge and Limbaugh live.) So, "getting benefits" from the government ... Like Murtha delivers to a depressed area of Pennsylvania wasn't on the list.

The man won 6 terms. 12 years. And, now he's in a SCIENTOLOGY rehab. He comes out in 30 days; a few days before our national election.

But by then?

It appears Foley is an EXPERT party-giver. And, in the HOUSE, he actually chaired the committee on "child safety" ... SO he kept his emails, such as they were, within the "zone."

Still, to masturbate in private, and to input a message on a key pad, he had to use his nose.

Now, if you think you can remove Hastert from office because of this Woody Woodpecker, you're certifiable. This is just another October Surprise that adds votes to the republican column.

Honest. Even gays! The gay "lobby" gets spooked, here, because the "outting" is OBVIOUS. The human missile, Jordan Edmund is an ADULT. Goes to Berkeley. And, sadly enough "did this for laughs." (Think of it this way; to get into UC Berkeley, you have to be a top candidate. Beyond just great grades. So this kid knew the ropes.) He also ejaculates into towels. When Woody The Woodpecker asked him what he used, instead of his underpants. Which were not on.

The FBI is investigating. WHich means the IM messages are going to go under the microscope and get forensic details.

That someone named Rogers has already blackmailed a gay republican senator, at the time of Alito's senate vote, is also known.

Seems as an added bonus all the conspicuous idiots have hired lawyers.

And, ABC looks like it likes to deliver political FREAK SHOWS. Something two ABC political reporters just put into their book "How to Win." In this department? How NOT to Win, might have been a better title.

Hastert's Speakership in the House cannot be destroyed on this story.

But what you've learned, ahead of election day, November 7th, is that the democraps thought this would be a calculated move to reduce "the base's" turn-out for the GOP. Maybe, we'll be able to qualify this with Will Rogers old reference: "They're gonna stagger to the polls to vote."

The story broke much too early to be useful. WHY? Becaue there are more "gay details" waiting in the wing.

However, Nancy Pelosi's rag is now full of tears. And, it's possible, with all the stuff that's broken out on the Net, we see yet again, Matt Drudge getting to report more on this story. With others on the Internet, also having a field day.

With October Surprises like this you just wonder how Karl Rove does it? He must really turn on major electronic throught control devices to bring MasterGATE to the fore.

Onward Christian soldiers. Somebody at the end of the parade will be shoveling this shit forward for quite some time. Just in case you weren't motivated to vote!

And, better yet, all this publicity is FREE. (Except for the weirdo's who have to hire their lawyers.)

Will Freeh ask to borrow Patrick Fitzgerld's Mr. MaGoo's glasses?

Can the FBI come out of this unable to catch even a fly?

Murtha functions. He is sent to congress by a very poor district in Pennsylvania. Johnstown. Where, when the steel industry left America, left many American men without good jobs.

For Murtha to function, he has to know a lot about handling the taxpayer dollars that are used to buy military equipment. He's got some of the biggest defense contractors now with plants in his district. PEOPLE ARE EMPLOYED!

You don't like his politics? Neither do I. But he doesn't have to please me. Politics is local. And, as a local politician he took his district out of poverty fair and square.

It also shows you that PENNSYLVANIA stands out as a state. Unlike New Jersey, for instance; which is totally corrupt. And, for the GOP, like New York State. Which is in the sewer. Thanks to Pataki. (And, the money falling into the pockets of thieves through the Port Orthority.) How's that? States write COMPACTS with one another. Similar to "treaties." But our Constitution forbids states to do treaties. Reserving this for the Federal Government.

But between states? A WHORE HOUSE OF COMPACTS. And, nobody challenges the dreck.

At one time the Chase Manhattan Bankers (owned by the kakafellers; also owned the GOP, nationally. THey'd threaten to call in loans, IF people didn't give them what they wanted. That's why you got DEWEY in 1948. And, Douglas MacArthur, who would have swept truman out of office, instead was left out in the cold. The smaller man, truman, won "that" contest, between himself and MacArthur. But we all lost. We got the Cold War. And, MacArthur was called "paranoid" for accusing truman of letting the military plans, carried to DC, fall into the hands of the russians, first. It was the great UN "conquest."

Mediocre men. Terrible outcomes. And, worse. Crappy schools, infested with commie dogma.

Oh, well. That's politics.

And, we've had bad apples, galore.

Meanwhile, Murtha got into a spitting contest with Bush. (Bush didn't have to do this. But he did.)

Just like this summer he let Condi play with the UN. So now her future in politics, beyond Bush, IF WE'RE LUCKY, is kaput.

Foley? His Scientology "cure" may be punishment, enough. But Murtha is damned good at his job! And, he's backed by his state's governor. And, the two senators, as well.

THAT'S WHAT LEADS INDIVIDUAL STATES TO SUCCESS. The proof in the pudding is that constituents are served.

You're not going to replace this with religious jibber-jabber, either.

In case you didn't notice; one reason you got MasterGATE is that the donks were counting on the religious zealots staying home, and not voting on election day.

If we're lucky? It's the gays who have to re-think their votes. But all the rest of us can do is watch.

Regardless who wins on November 7, we'll have Carol's comments to look forward to on the 8th.

Some one said that like making sausage, politics was an ugly job. And both smelled bad.

When I was a kid I packed sausages into boxes. At The Wilson meat packing plant in Omaha. What did you think I meant?

Carol,

I do agree that this Foley thing broke way to soon.

In the internet age these things must be finely tuned. Four or five days before an electiion.

Enough time for the message to sink in. Not enough time for a million bloggers to fully investigate the story.

Five weeks before an election is sabotoging the Democrat program unless there is a follow on scandal.
