An Inconvenient Question

I missed this video when it first came out. It is reporter Phelim McAleer asking Stephen Schneider some questions. Check out the totalitarian response to an inconvenient question.

And just who is Stephen Schneider? He is the academic who said:

“To do that we need to get some broad based support, to capture the public’s imagination. That, of course, entails getting loads of media coverage. So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements, and make little mention of any doubts we might have. This “double ethical bind” we frequently find ourselves in cannot be solved by any formula. Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest. I hope that means being both.”
Ah. So honesty is no longer the best policy. Nice to know where he stands. If he is talking he is lying. Unless conclusively beyond a reasonable doubt proved otherwise.

And Mr. SS has written a book:

Science as a Contact Sport

Evidently the contact has been a bit too much for him.

Schneider is also a member of the Club Of Rome. Here is a bit on The Club of Rome along with a cast of characters.
"We are grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now much more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries."

David Rockefeller
Well on to the video.

And these folks wonder why there is a Tea Party movement? It seems like a rational response to their plan for world domination.

I wouldn't trust Phelim McAleer on a science issue as far as you could throw him. He's not just wrong. His intentions are questionable, too.

The Rockefeller quote is fiction, too, by the way.

If you had facts to support your position, would you need such fantastic tales?

Mr. McAleer wasn't saying anything about science. He was asking a question of Mr. Stephen Schneider the purported expert.

For his temerity he got a police escort out of the venue.

Is that the normal way Mr. Stephen Schneider answers questions? Or only inconvenient ones?

You have a link debunking the Rockefeller quote?

The site you linked to above is correct about one thing - taxes will not be raised in the US and factories will not be closed (except in California due to CO2 taxes.

Cap and Trade is dead.

C&T is Dead

Climategate has killed cap-and-trade

Oh, so that’s why you want to tax gasoline…

It's Official: U.S. Senators Abandon Cap and Trade

The new bill will not put a price on carbon emissions with a carbon market or a carbon tax. Rather, the new legislation will ratchet down caps on widely accepted pollutants from power plants and factories, and possibly increase taxes on gasoline. These funds would be used to fund loan guarantees for nuclear power plant construction and an expansion of domestic natural gas and oil projects. The bill will also call for continued research into clean coal and carbon capture technologies.

I get it - it is another stage in the War On Coal. Which has been going on for 30 or 40 years.

If you can't compete with coal tax them out of the market.

Of course if the substitutes cost more prices will rise.

Are you an oil/nuclear dupe in the war on coal? And if you were a dupe you wouldn't even know it.

David Rockefeller's book 'Memoirs' admits secretly conspiring for a NWO

In David Rockefeller's book 'Memoirs' he admits he is part of a secret cabal working to destroy the United States and create a new world order. Here is the direct quote from his book, pg 405:

Some even believe we [Rockefeller family] are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - One World, if you will.If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.
