Riots At The Democrat Convention

I'm giving myself another opportunity to make myself look stupid. (It's a hobby) I'm predicting that if the Democrat Congress doesn't shut down the war (they won't) there will be massive riots at the Democrat Nominating Convention in Denver.

So let me see. What I need are a few sock puppets and access to some lefty blogs. Maybe a catchy song "Won't You Please Come To Denver". We can save the world.

The reason there were riots at the Democratic Convention in 1968 is because there was a Democratic president at the time, keeping the War in Viet Nam going.

This time, the riots are, quite rightly, scheduled for the GOP Convention in Minnesota.

Another difference is that this time, the great majority of Americans also want to end the War in Iraq.

By the time the conventions roll around, the mainstream media will no longer be able to conceal the fact that we are accomplishing what we set out to do in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is likely to have an interesting effect on the sentiments of various sectors of the population.

Maybe this just shows just my youthful naivete, but riots seem so... 20th century. Are serious riots even possible anymore in this country?
