The Desire To Punish

"Distrust anyone in whom the desire to punish is powerful" Friedrich Nietzsche

Update: we have some commenters who think that crime requires punishment. All crime. So I say, "Let us bring back the Inquisition". Let us criminalize desire. Bring back alcohol prohibition.

With the right kind of government we can eliminate deviation. Totally.

Which is why such people are called totalitarians. I did not tag this post lightly.

Your logic is absurd.

Jews were forcibly removed from their homes by the Nazis.

Is there an invisible drug gestapo roaming neighborhoods who invade people's homes, pins them down to the floor, and then injects them with heroin? Makes them snort cocaine? Shoves a reefer in their mouth? Using drugs involves a choice.

No there is an anti-drug gestapo doing that.

You might find this of interest:

The Biggest Cover Up of All which discusses a torture case done by our anti-drug gestapo.

You know busting into homes at 3 AM. Killing people etc.

It is going on in America and you don't even notice.

Now be a Good German and move along. Nothing to see here.

Like other commenters have noted, you are a self-proclaimed expert on everything. How many of your blog postings come after a good hit on your reefer?? You must be a prolific toker since your blog is bigger than ITER. Of course, so is your ego!

Toke up and shoot up Simon!

Anon,

It is a wonder that you waste you time on a blog that is so unsatisfying.

Wouldn't you be happier on the Hitler Youth blog?

Hitler youth? Why? Because I don't want my children to have access to illicit drugs? Hey, here's a great business op for assholes like you Simon:

When you legalize drugs, you can be the first to buy one of those rickety old ice-cream vans and drive around neighborhoods selling pot to the kids! Hey, it's no different than nicotine and caffiene right?

Time to pull that needle out of your arm buddy!

Well anon,

It seems that there are ice cream trucks going around the neighborhood already selling drugs to kids.

And you know what drugs are illegal. How did that happen?

BTW why aren't they selling beer to kids? After all. It is easier to get than pot.
