Palestinians trade land for war

Debka in its usual fashion is hyperventilating about Sharon's "no plan" and the superior tactics of Arafat. They went on like this for months at the start of the stupidfada. Slowly but surly Sharon regained the initiative.

The rocketing is not a show of strengtth by the stupidstinians. It is a move of desperation.

Sharon is doing the obvious riposte. Clearing buffer zones. No houses no trees. Nada. If the rockets have a 10 km range the buffer zone needs to be 12 km. etc. There are going to be a lot of homeless palis reduced to living in tents if the rockets keep coming. Already the palis are howling (emergency meetings, calls for outside intervention). So far after the initial intervention which cost the lives of two Israeli soldiers it is the stupidstinians who are doing most of the dying. By 10 to 1 or better.

What the stupidstinians are doing is trading land for war.

My question is: have they thought this through? The fence is a mobile barrier. The lines of demarkation are only fixed in people's minds, not by agreement.

Surpisingly I predicted this in a comment over at LGF a couple of years ago. The way to deal with the stupidstinians is to reduce their territory for every act of violence. Nice to see Sharon taking my advice.
