Reuters' Gaza stringer reports:

Seyam, a senior Hamas official, also dismissed accusations that he bore responsibility for the killings.

"Such statements and accusations do not serve stability," Seyam told Al Jazeera television.

You will note that he didn't say the accusations were untrue.
