Can You Believe It?

Note that the gentleman being interviewed is an Obama supporter if you can judge by the above conversation. He says Obama was not born in Hawaii. He also says those that don't like Obama are racists.

Here is what he had to say:
There is no birth certificate," he said. "It's like an open secret. There isn't one. Everyone in the government there knows this. ... In my professional opinion, he definitely was not born in Hawaii. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that he was not born in Hawaii because there is no legal record of him being born there. - Tim Adams, the former senior elections clerk for the city and county of Honolulu

What an idiot and tool. At the end of the clip he points out that he is unhappy that one of his friends can't run for high office because he was born overseas to service parents.

Earlier, he says that it's apparent that Obama was born somewhere other than Hawaii - possibly overseas, but that the Democratic party vetted him... so that makes him eligible for President in contravention of Article 2 of the Constitution.

And... "can't we all just get along and sing kumbiya?" Yes, if what the liberals were proposing weren't the enslavement of my children to a lifetime of debt service and the destruction of my homeland/way of life... maybe we could remove the rancor from politics.

Leigh,

The fact that he is arguing against interest gives him some credibility.

I do think that Obama will be brought down by bad politics and not a bad birth certificate.

I do enjoy reporting on this stuff though.

I have pointed out to others that the man is making the argument "Because *I* can't find it, It must not exist!" Which is somewhat less than persuasive.

The man is overlooking the possibility that Barack Obama's records are sealed by court order which is a routine procedure in the case of an adoption. (Lolo Soetoro in 1965)

I have researched the issue of Obama's birth certificate and eligibility more than most, and as near as *I've* been able to discover, it doesn't matter if he was born in the White House, He can't be eligible because he is NOT an Article 2. "Natural Born Citizen" which is FAR more concerned with your parents
citizenship than where you were born.

His Father was NOT an American Citizen, so legally, it's game over for him no matter what his birth certificate says.

Unfortunately, Nobody in charge of verifying credentials has enough understanding to apply the law as it was written and intended.

They are all stuck on the 14th amendment Citizenship, which grants citizenship to anyone born here (and who is subject to US Jurisdiction, eliminating illegal aliens) but it does NOT confer Article 2. "Natural Born Citizenship."

The "birth certificate" issue is still dead. (Though the point about adoptive birth certificates being sealed is a new one.)

People should be working on getting his college papers released. Hillary's are.

Did he do so poorly that they would be an embarrassment?

Dave: Here's a stronger take on the "natural born citizen" thing:

Natural Born Citizen

"Today, World Net Daily published my commentary, entitled “Why Obama is ineligible – regardless of his birthplace”. "

I think, though, that if the matter ever came up, the Supreme Court would just make a ruling saying that he's really eligible anyway, since he's such a nice guy.
