Not Just Like a Video Game...

The Army has a new improved Stryker Armored Combat Vehicle. It has a 105 mm main gun with a co-axial machine gun which is so well controlled it is said to be able to make smiley faces at 900 yds.

But that is not the most interesting part. Training is.

Over the past year, the crews have been training with TOW-ITAS Humvees or other Stryker variants. Finally having the vehicles gives the crews a chance to delve into training.

“I can actually start focusing on our training, both on our mission tasks and working with the infantry,” said 1st Lt. Christopher Lilley, the MGS platoon leader in B Co.

The MGS also comes equipped with training software that allows Soldiers to train on various engagements in their own vehicles, instead of going to a simulator somewhere else.
So this new Stryker is not just like a video game. It is a video game. How can the X Box match that?

"My video game comes with a 105mm main gun." Talk about bragging rights.

It's actually a lethal weapon with video game controls. And yet Congress is conducting hearings to outlaw the video games that serve as free training to operate these weapons. Doesn't it know it's messing with national security?

It's not a video game, it's a lethal weapon, but the controls are just like a video game. Now Congress is conducting hearings to outlaw violent video games that serve as free training to operate these weapons. Doesn't Congress know it's messing with national security?
