Peace in Ukraine
Anyone contemplating Peace in Ukraine must take into account Putin's plan for a Soviet Reunion..
Russian President Vladimir Putin has never hidden his nostalgia for the days of the Soviet Union. He worked as a spy at the KGB, lamented the end of communism, restored lyrics chosen by former Soviet Premier Joseph Stalin to the Russian national anthem, and marshaled Soviet-style military parades in Moscow. He's even restarted a national fitness program founded by Stalin.
The program, which began in the 1930s, would "pay homage to our national historical traditions," Putin said in March.
His most direct praise of the old Soviet Union came in 2005, when he shocked the west in a speech to the Russian people. He told them that the end of the USSR was essentially a mistake.
His Feb 2022 "Historical Russia" speech just before the invasion is more of the same.
There are hints Poland is next.

America First did not automatically oppose German Imperialism. A World War followed.
America First does not automatically oppose Russian Imperialism. We will see what follows.
Poland is rearming. Germany is considering it. Maybe they know something.
The very same inanity that preceded WW2 is happening now.
"America can stay out of it."
"It is Europe's Problem."
"We will not send American boys to die for Czechoslovakia."

There are rumors that the to be nominated Secrataries of State and Defense oppose supporting Ukraine. Let me ask a question of our establishment that should have been asked of Germany and in fact also Russia in 1938. Have they given up their ambitions? Has Russia given up its ambitions in 2024? Possibly you may wish to consult with our Polish allies who are upping their defense spending considerably. They are not seeing peace in their future.
