But the party has to walk the walk, not just talk the talk.

And the party could do with some education on the subject. Our last President who had an economics degree pretty much understood the requirements. However, the party has forgotten.

I still think Palin's attitude is the way forward. The state is secular. It is not the definition of what is moral. That is up to the individual.

BTW we are having the discussion. And I'm throwing everything I have into the discussion.

I would like to see a rebuilding of the Reagan coalition. i.e. one based on economics. I would like to see our side stop fighting the culture war. Internally and with the larger population.

And if the Obama administration is only one of crooks - that is survivable. If it is one of tyrants then we are in a world of hurt. I'm betting on crooks.M. Keep the opposition at each other's throats and he is unstoppable. Right now we don't have time for the blame game anymore. We were all wrong. Economic Cons stayed home because they did not understand McCain's policies and they were afraid of the social cons, a fear that to me seems to be exaggerated and spread by an all too willing media. social cons stayed home because they didn't understand the economics. In both cases instead of talking to each other and forging a winning coalition we stayed separated and easy targets for a tissue of lies. Tearing ourselves apart only helps Obama and his crew of tyrants and crooks.J Carltonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02024996022541795571noreply@blogger.com
